Our biodegradable takeout packaging is 100% petroleum free. The straws, cups & cutlery are made from corn. The bowls and lids are sugarcane. The paper bags and boxes use the highest amount of post-consumer recycled content.
The food print of a plant based diet is less than half of a typical western diet. The livestock industry produces 7.1 billion tonnes of Co2 per year (14% of green house gas). By contrast, world-wide transportation is responsible for approximately 13% of GHG emissions.
We take pride in making everything from scratch and practice the art of root to stalk cooking. We do not use food factories or commercial bakeries to prepare our food. We honour a plant based whole-food mantra so that you receive a quality product without any preservatives, additives, or ingredients you can’t pronounce.
We try our best to offer local and organic ingredients. Our produce is hand selected from farmers. Salad bar items may change without notice due to seasonal availability. Although, much of our menu is gluten free, we are not a certified gluten free facility and cross contamination is possible. 100% peanut free.
We proudly serve free tap water instead of bottled water. Everyday approximately 65 million bottles are sent to landfill in North America. Only one in six bottles are recycled. Your purchasing choices affect the planet.
